Assessment

All course attendees must complete the training course prior to attempting the test. A multiple-choice test is included in the course. As per the stated rules of the course, no outside materials are permitted during the exam with non-compliance leading to immediate failure.

We facilitate your success in the test by providing you with easy to understand, and study material from the time of your booking to ensure that you are fully prepared. Check your booking to make sure that you have access to our Resources page which includes a link to our Course Study Guide booklet.

Re-assessment Policy

Whilst we pride ourselves in our high pass rate, on occasion, people may not pass the knowledge test.  We can arrange to re-do the test so please discuss it with your Trainer.  As our priority is safety on the water, so we are happy for attendees to complete additional study before being re-tested at a future course for no additional fee.

Rescheduling Policy

Courses have limited places. After securing a place on a course, we appreciate you attending as scheduled. Should you be unable to attend we would appreciate early notice of your non-attendance, and we will attempt to reschedule you to our next suitable course.

Should we be unable to run a course due to circumstances beyond our control then we reserve the right to offer you a place in our next available course that is convenient for you.
